Little wonders of pop music
From time to time a couple of lines from a song lyric keep wandering around in my head. Currently, it’s these two:
so you think you’re in the middle of the ocean
stranded on an island of your own
(…)
and i hesitate to say that you’re a liar
i never tell the truth myself
many words have been said
in the history of man
still your hello
seems like the first sense
Of course these are even better with the melody included. Who’s songs these are, I’ll leave that as a google exercise

Hello
Those first lines, must be the terrific song OCEAN by Lou Barlow’s SEBADOH?
Isn’t it??
It’s on the album “Harmacy”, after “Bakesale” my Favorite Sebadoh-album

Yes Markec, you’re on the spot. I’ll have to check out “Bakesale” soon
